U2 - With Or Without You KTV (DJ Z Instrumental Keyboard Tribute) #PocketConcertSeries

"With or Without You" is the 3rd track from U2's 5th studio album, The Joshua Tree (1987), and was released as the album's lead single on March 16, 1987. The song was the group's most successful single at the time, becoming their 1st number-one hit in both the United States and Canada by topping the Billboard Hot 100 for 3 weeks and the RPM national singles chart for 1 week, with a further 3 weeks at number two. "With or Without You" features sustained guitar parts played by guitarist the Edge with a prototype of the Infinite Guitar and a basic bassline by bassist Adam Clayton. A troubled love song, the track's lyrics were inspired by Bono's conflicting feelings about the lives he led as a musician and domestic man. In 2010, Rolling Stone magazine placed the song at number 132 on their list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time". (from Wikipedia, etc.)

DEPECHE MODE - Somebody KTV (DJ Z Instrumental Keyboard Tribute) #PocketConcertSeries

When Depeche Mode announced that they were planning to release "Blasphemous Rumours" as a 7" vinyl single, pushback from the religious community resulted, and consequently, the band decided as a compromise to release the single as a double-A side with "Somebody." "Blasphemous Rumours"/"Somebody" is Depeche Mode's 12th UK single (Mute 7 BONG 7) and 1st double A-side single, released on October 29, 1984. Both A-side songs were from the album Some Great Reward. "Somebody" is the first single with Martin Gore as lead vocals, one of only 3 (the other ones being "A Question of Lust" and "Home"). "Somebody," which was sung by Gore in the studio in the nude, includes one of his "little twists," where the track builds as if it is a song about finding one's perfect love, only to be revealed at the end that "though things like this make me sick / in a case like this I'll get away with it." The single charts number 16 in the UK. (from Wikipedia, etc.)
